Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah has announced that he has decided to part ways with the Quetta Gladiators franchise for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.
According to reports, Naseem Shah has decided to leave Quetta Gladiators after 5 years.
Naseem Shah has achieved significant milestones, notably becoming a part of Quetta Gladiators in 2019 and taking a 5-wicket haul with a brilliant performance in the previous PSL season. Naseem was signed by Quetta in PSL 4 but could not participate due to an injury.
The 20-year-old pacer is now entering the drafting or trading process, with Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi showing interest in acquiring him.
However, it is important to mention that recently Naseem Shah suffered an injury during the Asian Cup and sadly, he could not be a part of the Pakistan team for the Cricket World Cup 2023, which is a major comeback. It is still unclear whether Naseem is fit to play in the ninth edition of PSL or not.
Despite this failure, there are strong indications that Naseem Shah is likely to be part of Peshawar Zalmi for the coming PSL season. This development has Peshawar Zalmi fans and their management eagerly waiting for their contributions on the field.
