The Suzuki Swift is one of Pakistan’s most-popular small cars. It was originally released back in 2004 and has been through three major redesigns since then. The latest iteration, dubbed Swift V, went on sale here just last year. As it turns out though, Suzuki isn’t done with its bestselling hatchback yet—not by a long shot. This week, it launched a brand new variant of its bestseller: a limited edition called Swift GL.
The Japanese carmaker is keen on maintaining its leadership position in one of Pakistan’s most competitive segments. To that end, it has developed a special version of its popular Swift hatchback. The Suzuki Swift GL is targeted at young and dynamic Pakistani families who are always on-the-go. It offers more convenience, comfort and safety than its regular siblings thanks to some clever upgrades and extra features.
SPECS
Suzuki Swift GL comes with a 1.2-liter Boosterjet Petrol engine, which pushes out 90 PS (90 bhp) at 6500 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. Suzuki is offering a 5-speed manual transmission along with a CVT auto transmission (option). The company claims that it will go from 0-100kph in 11 seconds while achieving a top speed of 144kph.
In terms of looks, it gets a new front grille and redesigned bumpers on both ends. It sits on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and gets additional chrome accents all over the car.
The interior remains unchanged except for a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

COLOR OPTIONS
Suzuki Launches Swift GL available in three color options: Classic Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Silica and Vivid Red. As for equipment, it comes with standard automatic air conditioning, a black fabric-trimmed steering wheel, cruise control and push-button start along with anti-theft alarm with engine immobilizer. The Limited Edition model also comes with an integrated audio system with USB/AUX ports as well as a rear seat armrest having cup holders and storage pockets.

The Suzuki Launches Swift GL limited edition is a 2-door, 5-seater hatchback that runs on a 1.2-litre engine. With both manual and automatic transmission options available, customers can opt for their preferred setup depending on their driving style and needs. The new model comes with an array of standard features including alloy wheels, multi-function display with trip computer, rear parking sensors and electric sunroof among others.
